Karcher Power Squeegee

The Karcher Power Squeegee; It does windows!

Definitely one of those gadgets you did not know you needed.  The Karcher WV1 Vacuum Squeegee.  It sucks the water off the glass as you wipe.

One of our American Tug owners showed me this device, I had just finished the Seattle Winter Boat Show where I had spent each morning detailing the cockpits of the boats prior to inviting another days group of show attendees aboard.  This would ease my morning ritual of using a chamois to rid the cockpit of the morning dew, towel drying the nonskid so folks did not get wet feet or track water into the boats, and removing excessive condensation from the pilothouse windows on very cold days.

It should work equally well on fiberglass or window glass, bonus for us boaters!

Karcher is a German manufacturer of high quality pressure washers, commercial and residential cleaning equipment.

Available from Amazon, click here.  About $45.

SeaDek: Now available from Marine Detail Specialists

SeaDek pioneered the use of EVA foam to replace either non-skid or teak decking on boats.  It effectively softens the exterior texture for your feet, your dog's paws or seating areas.  Utilizing precision cut patterns to match and accentuate the boats lines, SeaDek adds a glamorous look without the maintenance associated with wood on the exterior.

Represented in the Pacific Northwest by Marine Detail Specialists, our neighbor here in La Conner, WA.  Jeff Paxson has been a certified SeaDek installer since 2017 and has worked on several American Tugs.  Marine Detail Specialists is also one of the very best boat detail shops in the area, they do a great job on cleaning, polishing and waxing our clients boats.

Add a soft feel to your boats cockpit, make your swimstep dog claw friendly or add non-skid to  your dinghy interior.  Installed with a 3M pressure sensitive adhesive so installation is simple.

Call Jeff Paxson at Marine Detail Specialists in La Conner.  Jeff can be reached at 206-852-4609 or see http://www.marinedetailspecialists.com
